Tetrabutyl titanate is an organic compound with the chemical formula C16H36O4Ti. It is a colorless to light yellow liquid, flammable, and low toxic. It is a glassy solid below -55℃ and decomposes when exposed to water. It is soluble in most organic solvents except ketones, with a boiling point of 310-314℃.

Tetrabutyl titanate is a class of organic compounds that can be used as cathode materials for lithium batteries, as well as in transesterification reactions, as modifiers for polyester paints, additives for high-temperature resistant coatings, crosslinking agents, and catalysts. When applied to coatings, it can improve heat resistance (up to 500°C) and enhance the adhesion of coatings, rubber, and plastics to metal surfaces.
